LEGO Pokémon GO event freebies detailed

Pokémon GO Fest: Copenhagen is now underway with several LEGO Pokémon giveaways to grab, both physically and in-game, all of which have been shared online.

The Pokémon GO community are currently enjoying the festivities in Copenhagen for the mobile game's latest in-person event in Denmark. As you would expect, the LEGO Group is a major part of the event with two giveaways for attendees to grab.

This includes a free LEGO Poké Ball build, shown off by PudgyVincent and with instructions shared by jullevi92. The model is simple to recreate at home, but worth picking up if you're at Pokémon GO Fest.

Not physical, but much more notable is an exclusive Pikachu up for grabs at Pokémon GO Fest for the titular game. It was previously announced that one of the items up for grabs at the event would be 'unique LEGO Pokémon digital backgrounds', but further clarification was not provided.

Now, we know precisely what these are. They come in the form of normal Pokémon in-game, but with a LEGO background. That background even features a LEGO PokéStop.

It's a far more interesting reward for Pokémon GO players and showcases the extent of the LEGO Group's new partnership. This background is unlikely to be available outside of this event, and you can receive one by taking part in a LEGO-themed stamp rally. More information is available in-game.

Pokémon GO Fest Copenhagen will be held until June 14, and LEGO Stores in the area are even taking part in the event with some big builds inspired by the game.
